Kolectivo K

Leader and creator of this musical project. From the age of 10 years showed his inclination for music. He learned to play guitar empirically. When he was doing undergraduate studies in engineering by bowed bass and there he was part of many musical groups. It has also been linked to the university chorus and participated in international choral festivals in Colombia and Ecuador. He has won several awards for his compositions in the Song Festivals and Theater at the national and regional levels. This young music lover is a composer, audio producer for radio, TV and film jingles and set to music companies.

This social communicator is in contact with music since age seven. He has conducted workshops on music appreciation and music theory, piano lessons and studying classical voice with singers and acknowledged masters of the city of Cali. He has belonged to different forms of the genre of salsa, bolero, tropical and pop, and has participated in musical works which has been the lead voice and backing vocals.

He began his musical studies at an early age in the music school of the Buga´s House of Culture, playing classical piano.
Then he joined the Philharmonic Band College as a trumpet soloist and classical pianist. Is an electrical engineer and graduate in music from the Universidad del Valle. Its high inclination is the trumpet which has been part of jazz groups, orchestras internationally recognized salsa, tropical music and now the rock fusion.

His approach to music was through a collective of DJ's that played at parties, this helped him gain recognition and play in major events, bars and nightclubs in the city, so they specialize in genres like House, Dance, Drum and Bass, Trance, Ambient, Chill Out, Groove, Dance and finally Alternative and experimental. After several attempts with different bands and different genres the in city at 2004 reaching Kolectivo K as a sound engineer and later docked as DJ and percussion.
